Super Eagles and Omonia defender, Shehu Abdullahi, has welcomed his first child with his wife, Kannywood actress, Naja’atu Muhammad Suleiman.
The former Kano Pillars star took to Instagram on Thursday to announce the arrival of their first child. He also revealed the sex of the baby.
He further noted that both the newborn and the mother are fine.
Sharing a lovely photo with his wife, the proud father wrote: “We are thrilled to announce our baby boy, mother and baby are in good health. We thank Allah! We were blessed with the arrival of our son this morning. We appreciate your prayers.”
Abdullahi tied the nuptials with Naja’atu on June 18, 2021 in Kano.
The 29-year-old defender is among Super Eagles players currently in Ghana for the first leg tie of Nigeria World Cup Qualifier playoff against the Black Stars of Ghana slated for Friday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kamusi.
The Eagles will host the Ghanaians in the second leg tie at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 29, 2022.
The winner of the double-header will book one of Africa’s five spots at the Qatar 2022 World holding later this year.
