Ahmed Musa’s move to Nigerian Professional Football League, (NPFL) side, Kano Pillars have officially confirmed.
Musa, the captain of the Nigerian senior national team has been signed by the NPFL club.
Musa will stay at the club until the end of the current season.
The former Leicester City star returned to the club he previously played for in 2009 and finished top scorer with 18 goals.
Kano Pillars’ Media Officer, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, said the club have agreed to the deal after discussions with the former CSKA Moscow winger and the League Management Company of Nigeria (LMC).
“Ahmed Musa is our own and Pillars FC will continue to support him anytime and anywhere he found himself,” Malikawa said.
The Super Eagles captain will be allowed to leave the NPFL side ones he secures a contract elsewhere.
Musa’s last club was Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia which he left last year and had remained without a club.
