Sophia Momodu joins Davido to remember the late Obama DMW

First babymama to singer Davido, Sophia Momodu has joined him in remembering his late friend, Habeeb Uthman popularly known as Obama DMW or 44.

The late Oba DMW who was the personal assistant/manager to the sensational singer died on June 29, 2021, at Ever-care hospital in Admiralty Way, Lagos, over heart failure.

Sources revealed that Obama had complained of having breathing difficulties and drove himself to the hospital, where he was admitted for treatment.

Unfortunately, he died a few hours later, and according to the Muslim rites, he was buried the next day on Wednesday morning, 30th of June at Epe, Lagos State.

Marking his one-year remembrance, Davido who never ceases to mourn him took to his Instagram story to admit his much he still misses him.

Describing him as his dawg, Davido noted how he lost his best friend on this same day.

The singer revealed that he was taking some time off to mourn his lose.

“Lost my bestfriend today last year…def need my space today…RIP 44…sad day”.

“Missin my dawg”.

“Water run down my eyes”.

His first babymama, Sophia Momodu also dedicated several posts on her Instagram story to him.

She noted how grateful she was to have known him.

“Grateful to have known you….44 forever”.

Kemi Filani news recalls Davido had reacted to the death of his road manager in an emotional way.

The ‘Fem’ hitmaker waited exactly one week after the death of Obama before taking to social media to make a post about his demise.

According to Davido, his tribute to Obama was by far the hardest thing he has written as he described Obama as an elder brother to him.

Davido noted that Obama always had his back during his lifetime and would do anything to make him smile and feel better.

Davido also stated in his write up that he would take care of Obama’s only son, Malik.
