It is a tough time for Nigerian comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile better known as Seyi Law as he loses a close friend.
The comedian, who has faced several backlashes this year, via his Instagram page, revealed that he had lost one of his childhood friends and it has left him heartbroken.
Praising the deceased, he stated that she had one of the most beautiful smiles, and noted how she was his friend’s girlfriend and wife and he was the best man at their wedding.
He questioned why she had to go as he showered words on her, praying for her to rest in the bosom of the Lord.

We were all childhood friends.
You had one of the most beautiful smiles.
You became my friend’s girlfriend and wife.
I was the best man at your wedding.
Why did you have to go, my darling sister?

You were the calmest amongst us.

A few days before Christmas, actress Chizzy Alichi Mbah was thrown into mourning as she lost her dear father. The beautiful actress broke down on social media when she announced the loss of her father, who happened to be her first love.
In a mourning state, the actress lamented the loss of her father which had turned her life upside down. She cried for his loss of not being able to carry his grandchildren, stating his death was overbearing for her.
Also, the Yoruba industry had lost veteran, Dejumo Lewis, who died at age 80.
The actor, who is notable for his roles in “A Place in the Stars”, ‘Crossroads’, ‘Power of 1’, and most especially for playing the Kabiyesi role in ‘The Village Headmaster”, was confirmed dead by his colleague, Saidi Balogun in a post on his Instagram page.
Said bade him goodbye, while praying for his soul to rest in peace.

In other news, Nigerian celebrities had rallied around their colleague, Bidemi Kosoko as she lost her house to a fire outbreak.
Her elder sister, Sola Kosoko made the sad news known on her Instagram page as she shared clips of the aftermath of the damage done.
Shola revealed that it has become a family tradition to spend the 26th of December, which is Boxing Day at their father, Jide Kosoko’s house, where they all exchange and unwrap gifts. They were at their father’s house when they received an alarming call informing them that Bidemi’s house, as well as their neighbor’s house, was on fire.
