Nigerian hip-hop artist Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, known professionally as Olamide, has sparked reactions online after saying making money is not his goal.

Undoubtedly money is an essential tool to achieving goals, realizing dreams, and making day-to-day living more accessible, but Olamide seemed different about it.

In a post shared on Instagram, Olamide said his goal isn’t money but to spend days however he wishes, and many netizens disagree with him.

Many netizens said Olamide is wrong about the statement noting that an individual needs money to achieve a goal. In contrast, others said people should not listen to his quote because he has made money already.

For me the goal isn’t money, for me, the goal is to spend days however I wish.
