Singer Oxlade hails Wizkid, recounts his impact on his career (Video)


Fast rising singer, Oxlade has heaped praises on Grammy award winning singer, Wizkid for impacting his career.

Wizkid who had a sold-out show in Paris, brought out Oxlade to perform with him.

The singers performed Oxlade’s hit song, Ku Lo Sa to the over 20,000 crowd at the concert.

Oxlade who couldn’t believe it took to his Twitter page to express gratitude to him.

He noted how Wizkid brought him out to perform at his 02 Arena concert in London before he had a hit record.

To him, this is real as one can’t but love.

“Mandem gave me the 02 before I had a hit record….

You can’t buy that love. It has to be real”.

Oxlade, isn’t the only one, Wizkid has impacted.

Kemi Filani news reported that skitmaker, Carter Efe went extra mile to show how Wizkid had been of impact to him.

He had taken many by surprise when he took to the studio to record a dedication song to his number one idol, Wizkid.

Carter Efe, who is a staunch fan of Wizkid, featured an emerging act, Berri Tiga, on the song which they titled ‘Machala’ with the theme centered around praising the Afrobeats singer.

Wizkid FC, the fan base of the Grammy award-winning singer, perceive the song as an anthem in honor of their King.

Shockingly, the song titled ‘Machala’ topped the charts and was the number one trending song on several streaming platforms.

The song had earned the highest number of streams for the week across all online streaming platforms in Nigeria.
