Nigerians react to video of health attendants mocking and recording Rico Swavey while he battled for life (Video)

Nigerians are reacting to a heartbreaking video of Big Brother Naija Season 3 reality star, Rico Swavey been neglected by healthcare attendants.

In a video circulating online, Rico Swavey, who was indisposed, was seen sitting on a chair while receiving oxygen as the nurses contemplated on how to move him into Intensive Care Unit.

In the video, one of them, who wasn’t pleased with the actions of her co-workers recording him, while he was battling for his life, had chided them.

She noted how he was in critical condition, yet they were more concerned about making videos.

One of them could be heard saying, “Oya, make we carry am now go inside”. Her statement made another nurse chuckle.

Another nurse who wasn’t pleased with their behavior, said, “His oxygen is 90%. You people should stop making video and let’s move him. Somebody is in critical condition and you’re making videos”.

The video has elicited anger from netizens as they drag the healthcare attendants for being lackadaisical.

Many stated that the reality star, would have survived the fatal accident, if they had handled the situation with utmost professionalism.

Rico Swavey involved in fatal accident

Rico Swavey had been confirmed died following a fatal accident on Tuesday, October 11.

His co-reality star, Alex Unusual, had announced the news to the world.

She stated that the doctors were trying to resuscitate Rico Swavey as of the time she left the hospital.

Alex further asked fans to put Rico Swavey in their prayers, as he was in a critical position.

She also said that she was staying positive concerning the sad occurrence, as she also shared a screenshot of the tweet on her Instagram story.

Alex, however, did not state where the accident occurred or how it happened.

Rico Swavey is dead

Unfortunately, the reality star couldn’t survive it, as he kicked the bucket.

His co-star, Tobi Bakre announced his demise on Thursday morning, October 13th.

Taking to his Instagram page, Tobi Bakre shared a photo of him and the deceased as he revealed that he would use the picture to remember him.

“This is how I will remember us brother. Forever”.

Many Big Brother Naija reality stars and celebrities from different entertainment industry have paid tribute to him.
