In a recent interview, Nigerian musical sensation Tems has casually revealed the whereabouts of her Grammy award .
When asked about the whereabouts of her Grammy award which she got for the song “Wait for you” she had simply replied “probably inside a shelf somewhere.”
Her laid-back response to the prestigious accolade has left fans and netizens buzzing, drawing comparisons to fellow Nigerian artist Burna Boy and highlighting intriguing differences between the two stars.
She raised eyebrows among some netizens who expected a more exuberant reaction to one of the music industry’s highest honors. She went on to explain that her focus was on the future, emphasizing that she doesn’t dwell on past achievements but instead looks ahead to the “next best thing.”
Singer Tems finally takes delivery of her Grammy award
In June, Kemi Filani reported that Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems has finally received her Grammy award.
This comes after that the music star had won the Best Melodic Rap Performance for her feature on American rapper, Future’s song, Wait for You. Three months after her historic win, Tems has taken delivery of the prestigious award.

The 27-years-old said she used to steal food just to survive. According to Tems, during her broke days, she used to either steal food or go to her aunt’s house to get food.
Tems had also revealed that that she didn’t have any self-esteem and never thought she was pretty nor had a good voice. She described herself as someone who was broke and hopeless.
