Wave of the moment, Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems has finally received her Grammy award.

Recall that the music star had won the Best Melodic Rap Performance for her feature on American rapper, Future’s song, Wait for You.

Three months after her historic win, Tems has taken delivery of the prestigious award.

Twitter user, Basito shared a photo of her Grammy award, with the caption, “Tems Grammy has landed”.

Tems makes history at 2023 Grammys

Kemi Filani reported on Sunday, February 5th that Tems had broken records as she won her first Grammy award.

The Nigerian singer, who keeps soaring higher and breaking records, had become the first Nigerian female artiste to win a Grammy.

The singer, won the prestigious award at the 65th Grammy award held last night, February 5th, 2023 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Her feature on American rapper, Future’s song, ‘Wait for U’, which also featured Drake earned her the award.

With her newest feat, Tems has beaten Tiwa S@vage, Yemi Alade, and other Nigerian female singers to win the prestigious award.

Tems pens appreciation post following Grammy win

Following her historic win, Tems penned an appreciation post.

Taking to the micro-blogging platform, Tems acknowledged the role of God in her life. She appreciated Him for making it possible and returned all Glory to Him.

She also appreciated everyone who has supported her through everything as she noted how the love has been overwhelming.

“What God has done for me, I can’t even speak. All the glory really belongs to Him.

To everyone that has been supporting me still. Through everything, please know I don’t take it for granted. I truly appreciate it, the love has been too much.

Thank you so much Rebel Gang. We up very soon”.
