Late Murphy Afolabi’s wife, Deenat Animashaun, has mourned his absence as their daughter, Fathia Afolabi, graduates high school.
The proud mother shed uncontrollable tears of joy as she wished her baby daddy was alive to witness their daughter’s achievements.
Deenat, however, prayed that everything would be perfect for her daughter to achieve all her aims in life.
She wrote, “My tears of joy are uncontrollable as you graduate from secondary school today @fathia_afolabi. I wish your father is alive today to witness one of his achievements today. It all started like a play Fathia Allah made it a real But all glory and adoration to Almighty Allah the knower of all things.
As you’re stepping up in life, may the Almighty perfect it for you to achieve all you aim in life.
To all the Teaching staff $ non and founder of Abba coterie secondary school, I say a very big thanks to you for your good works. The remarkable feat you all put forward as a demonstration of your readiness and commitment to the moral and academic development of our kids carries and indelible stamps of my reserved gratitude. Black Sunday as Nollywood loses Murphy Afolabi
Recall that Murphy Afolabi died on Sunday, the 14th of May, 2023, after he reportedly slipped on bathroom tiles and hit his head on a hard surface.
Nollywood stars declared Sunday as a Black day because the movie industry lost two actors. Many took to their timelines to share dark images to mourn the death of Murphy Afolabi.
Actor Murphy Afolabi’s death came as a shock to many as the actor recently marked his 49th birthday on the 5th of May. Reports by Seun Oloketuyi claimed the actor lost his life after slipping on bathroom tiles.
Nollywood artistes, including Adeniyi Johnson, Papa Show, Biola Bayo, Damola Olatunjji, Sam Olatunji, Yinka Solomon, Mercy Aigbe, Kemi Korede and a host of others mourned their colleagues’ death on social media.
The actor was buried amidst tears by his children, colleagues, families and friends at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
