Solomon Buchi, recently turned to Twitter with a funny observation as 2023 nears its end. Addressing the common trend of people vowing to cut off ‘fake friends’ with the arrival of the new year, Buchi asked tham, , “Have you yet bought your scissors to cut away your imaginary fake friends before 2024?”
This remark humorously taunts the annual ritual some people follow, where they announce their intention to remove certain friends from their lives as part of their New Year resolutions.
Recall that 2 months ago, Solomon had spoken out about those types of individuals who claim that they will never tolerate a particular thing in life. He expresses the irony that many people eventually find themselves in the very situations they swore to avoid.
Buchi spoke out on the unpredictability of life, pointing out how the phrase “it can never be me” can become irrelevant when people are faced with difficult circumstances.
In September, Buchi also addressed the topic of marriage proposals. He challenged the notion that men are doing women a favor by proposing. His expressed that marriage proposals are not a one-sided favor but a mutual agreement that benefits both individuals. Buchi spoke out on the importance of of mutual respect and partnership in marriage, rejecting the idea that men are granting a favor by deciding to marry. He expressed that no man was created to be alone.
