Kemi Filani recalls that Shade Okoya marked the mother’s day celebration with an adorable photo of herself and her children, coupled with a heartwarming word for all mothers.
Shade Okoya stated that being a mother is more than birthing a child; motherhood means carrying and caring for a life entirely dependent on the woman’s survival.
She added that being a mother means building children’s self-esteem, supporting their dreams, and loving them unconditionally.
“Being a mother means more than having given birth to a child. It’s loving and knowing a soul before you even see it. It’s carrying and caring for a life completely dependant on you for survival. It’s building their self-esteem, supporting their dreams and loving them unconditionally. To the world she may be one person; but to one person she may be the world. – Happy Mother’s Day. #ShadeOkoya “
