“Say no to Marlian music” Delta youths stage massive protest for Mohbad (Video)
Following the demise of young Nigerian artist, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, Nigerian youths in Delta State have staged a massive protest for him.
In videos captured online, the youths in large numbers, stage a protest which kicked off on Effurun road in Delta State, carrying placards as they demanded justice for the late singer.
As they marched across the roads, the youths called for an end to Marlian music and for the singer’s culprit to be held responsible.
The video has stirred reactions as many called for more protests to be held across all states.

The untimely death of the late promising singer had become an eye-opener to many of the ills in the music industry.
One deeply unsettling controversy that emerged in the wake of Mohbad’s passing was the viral video showing Naira Marley’s aide, Sam Larry, harassing the late artist. The disturbing footage showed Mohbad seemingly in distress and discomfort, with Sam Larry’s actions raising serious questions and concerns among fans and the public.
Furthermore, videos of Mohbad appearing bloodied and battered following an altercation with Naira Marley’s aide only added to the already murky waters surrounding his death. These visuals sparked outrage and renewed the demand for clarity and justice.
Kemi Filani later learned that Mohbad had filed a petition with the Nigerian police against, Sam Larry and others after he was assaulted on the set of a video shoot with Zlatan Ibile.
Swinging into action, the Nigerian Police have inaugurated a special investigation team to unravel Mohbad’s death.
This was made known in a meeting on Monday, where a 13-man special investigation team was inaugurated by the Lagos State Police Command, to probe the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad.
