Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ second runner-up, Cynthia Nwadiora better known as Ceec has stirred reactions as she celebrates her co-reality star, Ilebaye as she receives her million.
It is no longer news that the Level Up former housemate and Gen Z baddie beat the likes of Mercy Eke, Ceec, Cross, Pere, and Adekunle to emerge victorious. She garnered 30% of the votes cast to defeat her closest rival, Mercy who pooled 23% of the votes.
Following her win, Ilebaye had earlier today, collected the receipt of her N120 million cash prize, along with a brand new car from Innoson Motors, Techno phone, Nexus appliances, 1 year of Pepsi supply, Lush hair, and lots more.
Taking to her Instagram story to celebrate her, Ceec described her as a small pepper.
“Congratulations small pepper”.
This is coming hours after a leaked video captured how Cee C and Cross reacted to Ilebaye’s win.
When Ebuka declared Ilebaye the season’s champion, Cross and Cee C who were both in the backstage area, were unhappy with her win.
Cross gave Cee C a bizarre expression as she stormed out of the room in response.
As such, her post celebrating Ilebaye was met with mixed reactions.
One Legal Islander wrote, “Their delusion is getting clear, good way to go. Saying congratulations won’t kill anyone
One Sekiro Gùru wrote, “Who her congratulations help? Ordinary charge and bail lawyer, wan congratulate multimillionaire
One The Belle Tiwa wrote, “Now, Cee C just gained a follower
One Ave Diamond wrote, “All love, it was just a competition
One Okonofua Itohan wrote, “Hahaha she just realized she is not dreaming and there is nothing she can do as the money is in Ilebaye account”.
Ilebaye’s victory in the All-Stars season has been met with mixed reactions from fans and viewers of the reality show, with many alluding to pity votes as the reason why she won.
Relationship expert, Blessing Okoro better known as Blessing CEO, had noted how emotional blackmail is the best tool to use in winning Nigerians’ hearts.
According to her, one needs to learn how to cry and manipulate the public’s love to feel powerful by pitying them.
She noted how Nigerians don’t like strong powerful women as she hailed Mercy Eke and Ceec for being relevant for years.
Ultimate Love reality TV star, Kachi Ucheagwu, had also faulted Ilebaye’s win questioning the authenticity of her win.
He expressed his doubts that the reality star wouldn’t have won if not for pity votes and sympathies.
He compared her victory to the state of Nigeria on its Independence Day, stating that the prevalence of pity and sympathy over meritocracy was a reflection of the nation’s stunted growth.
