Salamantu Gbajabiamila was born in 1968, there are however, no details on the date and month.
Her mother was the late Mrs Mildred Bisalla, a nurse and was the wife of late General Iliya Bisalla, a Major General in the Nigerian Army and Commissioner of Defence under the military regime of General Murtala Mohammed, who was the 4th Nigerian Head of State.
Salamantu’s mother died at the age of 89 and was the Founder of Plateau Nigerian Horticultural Society, a devoted Christian who held various positions in the Anglican Church.

Who is Femi Gbajabiamila?
His full name is Olufemi Hakeem Gbajabiamila, and he was born on the 25th of June 1962 in Lagos state. He is a Nigerian lawyer, a member of the All Progressives Congress APC, and the current Speaker of Nigeria’s 9th House of Representatives.
Femi Gbajabiamila has been in the House since 2003 when he was elected as a representative of the Surulere I constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives.
The Lagos born politician was elected speaker in the 9th National Assembly House of Representative, where he had a total of 283 votes compared to his opponent Mohammed Umar Bago who emerged Second with 78 votes.
Femi Gbajabiamila’s parents were Lateef and Olufunke Gbajabiamila. He went to Mainland Preparatory School for elementary education and proceeded to Igbobi College in 1973 for secondary school.
The Nigerian Speaker later gained admission to King William’s College on the Isle of Man, the United Kingdom, for his A-Level and was subsequently admitted to the University of Lagos, Nigeria, where he bagged a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) 1983 and was called to bar in 1984.
After graduating, Femi Gbajabiamila worked with Bentley Edu & Co., in Lagos, before starting his law firm called Femi Gbaja & Co, and today he is considered one of the most popular politicians from Lagos state.
