Controversial Nigerian music star and owner of Marlian music label Naira Marley is in the news again, and this time it is centred on his alleged fraud case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC.
The latest reports revealed that several credit card numbers were extracted from Naira Marley’s iPhone X.
This came up when the EFCC second prosecution witness, Augustine Anosike, on Tuesday, testified in the case involving Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, before Justice Nicholas Oweibo in the Federal High Court in Ikoyi area of Lagos state.
According to Anosike, a forensic expert with EFCC, several credit card numbers were extracted while analysing the content of a total of 2,410 messages found on Naira Marley’s mobile phone.
Recall that the controversial singer was arraigned by the EFCC on May 20, 2019, on eleven counts bordering on conspiracy, possession of counterfeit credit cards, and fraud, all of which he pleaded not guilty.

Naira Marley’s biography
His real name is Azeez Fashola, and he was born on the 9th May 1991 in Agege, area of Lagos state; there are no details of who his parents are.
Naira Marley has a sister named Shubomi, who is a model, brand influencer and fashion model. The reports revealed that Shubomi is the last child of Naira Marley’s patently and was born in March 1998.
