The singer was born on 07 September 1951 in Akron, Ohio, United States. The parents of Chrissie are Melville Grant Hynde and Dolores Hynde. The singer is the daughter of a part-time secretary and Yellow Page manager. She completed her graduation from the Firestone High School in Akron. The singer travels to cleave land to band performs.
