Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, was seen shouting from the touchline when his team went 2-0 down to Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Klopp was keen to shake things up a bit and rotate his squad, as the Reds are in action in the Premier League on Saturday before taking on Ajax next Tuesday.
But despite Liverpool being a weakened team, the Reds were poor and Atalanta were deserving of their three points.
Josip Ilcic opened the scoring for Atalanta on the hour mark, before Robin Gosens doubled his side’s advantage just four minutes later with a close-range shot past Alisson.
BT Sport cameras picked out an animated Klopp screaming on the touchline, and fans heard the German shout: “Please, start playing football boys.”
Klopp reacted to Liverpool going 2-0 down by making four substitutes at once.
Divock Origi, Georginio Wijnaldum, Konstantinos Tsimikas and Mohamed Salah all made way for the Reds, with Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, Fabino and Andy Robertson coming on in their place.
But the changes had little impact on the match, with Atalanta holding onto their lead and winning three vital points.
