A lady has revealed that her uncle who was, a few days ago, pronounced dead as a result of COVID-19 has come back to life.

She had announced the news of his death days ago on Twitter:

‘Still can’t believe I lost an uncle to corona a few days ago… sigh. May his soul rest in peace. I really can’t wait till all these sips away because it’s been a hell of a year’.

Days later, the lady took to Twitter to reveal that his back to life.

“OMG! I’m shaking, God did it. He did not die. They took out life support days ago because he wasn’t responding anymore. But he opened his eyes yesterday and he breaths…God. Although he hasn’t spoken yet, we pray and hope he does”, she wrote.

The new government has pledged to lead the country to democracy after last year's toppling of Islamist autocrat Omar al-Bashir, who had reigned since 1989.

'These amendments are still not enough but they're a great first step for the transitional government that's trying to implement changes,' Noor Sultan, founder of Bedayaa, an LGBT+ group in Egypt and Sudan, said on Thursday.

Former Tanzania President, Benjamin Mkapa is dead

Former President of Tanzania, Benjamin William Mkapa, a skilled diplomat who served as president for 10 years from 1995 to 2005 is dead at the age of 81.

President Magufuli who announced his death, said Mkapa died at a Dar eS Salaam Hospital in the early hours of Friday July 24, at the age of 81. 

Magufuli said; 

“It is with great sadness we have lost Mzee (oldman) Benjamin William Mkapa, the former president who died at the hospital in Dar es Salaam where he was admitted. I call upon Tanzanians to receive sad news of his death and to pray for Mzee mkapa who is gone forever."
