Kenyan socialite, Huddah Monroe has been called out by her followers on Instagram over a post she shared on the platform.
She had a shared a picture showing her with Qatari ambassador to Kenya, H.E Jaber Al-Dosari, with a caption claiming she it was taken during the Qatar National Day.
Huddah Monroe was immediately called out by her followers who pointed out that Qatar National Day falls on December 18.
She had written:
“As a nation, we need good leaders who we can trust—the kind of leaders who always put the public’s wellbeing above their political or personal interests so that the yearnings and aspirations of the common people can be realized.Thats what I TRULY admire about the Arab world ………….
Thank you H.E Jaber Al-Dosari for inviting us to celebrate Qatar National Day . It was an honor”.
Wikipedia reports that Qatar National Day (Arabic: ﺍﻟﻴﻮﻡ ﺍﻟﻮﻃﻨﻲ ﻟﻘﻄﺮ ; Al-Yawm al-Waṭani li-Qaṭar) is a national commemoration of Qatar’s unification in 1878. It is celebrated annually on 18 December. The holiday was established by a 21 June 2007 decree of the then Crown Prince and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. It is also known as Founder’s Day.
