A True Love Story! How church and Mathematics brought us together – Sarah and Tunde

It’s another beautiful Monday kfbers and we are super excited about this edition!
You remember Sarah and Babatunde – one of the superb five couples we featured on the valentine special edition of the ‘True Love Series’ earlier this year’ (HERE).

In their submission, they said “we met in church, started out as friends for a long time but started
dating officially in 2011 and involved their parents in 2012. We will be formalizing our lifetime friendship sometime this year (2014), so pray for us….”
and truly they have formalized their lifetime friendship and we have got the fab photos and details below:

The lovebirds – Sarah and Tunde – walked down the aisle to the admiration of all and sundry on the 18th of October in Lagos.
How we met:
I am absolutely enamored and unequivocally in love with you.
I
love you will never seem like a good enough word because everyone says
it – heck, I probably say I “love” a bunch of random things each day.
But how I feel about you.. It’s incomparable.
I can love you the way I do because of the God in you,
Bride:  “We met in church, I was in the teens church while he was an usher…our mums were friends, we started talking when i gained admission into the university. I was studying statistic and since he studied maths and statistics while in school, he was always there to teach me and explain stuffs to me…so we became close…we got hit by cupid’s arrow, love happened and we began dating officially in 2011 and involved their parents in 2012…

“I like you a lot, a whole lot”..I love you selfishly and unselfishly.

Groom: What attracted me to Sarah is her natural beauty, she is a
beautiful woman…she is hardworking, sweet and she has all
the qualities a good man wants in a woman.

Even in our arguments when I literally want to kick you, I still want
to kiss you and hold you and love on you because I know your heart.
…in the good times and the tougher times. You show me each day through
your actions and in-actions that you love me like Jesus loves the Church
and the width and depth of your love and protection for me still takes my breath away.
I’ve seen you tested and I’ve seen you push yourself past
your own level of expectation and i am in awe of you
I feel safe enough to know that you will love me through my worst
You are everything to me on this earth.
Proposal story:
Bride: “He proposed on my birthday, June 1, 2014..after church he invited me and my friends out to Debonairs on the Island, we were there having fun, I noticed that they brought four packs of Pizza and one of them was empty…so we complained and the waitress came and took it back….when a new pack was brought, Tunde didn’t let us open it, I was sha wondering why…to cut the story he finally opened it and i saw the big question….i felt like the ground should open us and swallow me….people watching us started clapping and cheering us and shouting ‘say yes’…of course i said yes to the love of my life…..”
Groom: “Yes she said yes and my joy knew no bounds…I wasn’t nervous per say but i knew it was time to move us forward cos we were meant to be.”
He put a ring on it!

Keeping the fire burning:
It
hasn’t always been smooth..the truth is we quarrel a lot but we always
come back quickly, we just can’t do without each other…even on my birthday when he proposed we still
quarreled but we settled it.

Can I have this lifetime jump with you
Together, forever, we shall pull through the storms…
I asked God for a love story and he gave me the best love story ever…

Wedding Night experience:
Bride: We
were counting money….lol…well to me it was…i actually don’t know how to
put it but it was beautiful…we slept naked…when i woke up in the
morning, i was happy, cos before the wedding i have been imagining
things in my head and the things i had always imagined happened and it turned out exactly how i wanted so i was glad….
Groom: ah, it was awesome….i
don’t know how to explain it…we got to the hotel, everything went on well
even more than we expected, we were naked all night…beautiful and ah-mazing
experience.

Aww, KFB wishes Sarah and Babatunde a fabulous and wonderful marital
life.

Have a great week Kfbers and as you admire the wonderful things God has
made today, remember you’re one of them – wonderful inside and out. You’re
blessed. You’re special. You’re loved…xoxo.
