Sergio Conceicao, manager of FC Porto, has blocked Zaidu Sanusi’s probable move to the Premier League.
Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Everton have all been linked with a move for Sanusi.
According to a Portuguese publication, O’ Jogo has advised the club’s administration that Conceicao is in his plans for next season.
Since joining the Dragons from another Portuguese club, Santa Clara, two years ago, the 24-year-old has been a significant role.
Last season, the left-back scored the goal that gave Porto the league title.
The Nigerian international’s contract includes a €50 million release clause.
Porto reportedly wanted €20 million for him.
