Angry Qatar supporters were seen leaving the stadium early in the second half of their matchup with Ecuador in the 2022 FIFA World Cup opener.

When the host nation lost to Ecuador 2-0 on Sunday, November 20, it made history as the first time a World Cup host country had ever lost the tournament’s opening game.

Fans even anticipated that Ecuadorian players would score more goals against Qatar because they were so impressive throughout the entire game.

Qatar was defeated 2-0 thanks to two goals from Enner Valencia, and the host nation will now have to play tough in their upcoming two games.

Valencia scored its first goal in the sixteenth minute, and its second goal came in the thirty-first.

Additionally, as seen in the image published by ESPN, Qatar fans appeared to have given up when the second half began and they were seen leaving the stadium. They were so upset that their team’s inability to please them on the first day of the World Cup.
