West Ham vs Bayer Leverkusen: Starting XIs for Europa League tie

There’s six changes in the Bayer Leverkusen line-up to visit the London Stadium, with Xabi Alonso very much shuffling his pack – does that give West Ham a life line?

First choice goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky is among those to drop out, as well as first-choice centre-back Edmond Tapsoba, Robert Andrich, Jonas Hofmann, Amine Adli and Victor Boniface.

Matej Kovar, Josip Stanisic, Exequiel Palacios, Florian Wirtz, Alex Grimaldo and Patrick Schick come in.

Jarrod Bowen is fit to not only make the West Ham squad but starts tonight in a huge boost to David Moyes in his hopes of overturning Bayer Leverkusen’s first-leg lead.

He takes Danny Ings’ place in attack, though Michail Antonio will likely lead the line.

West Ham’s three other changes are enforced, with Lucas Paqueta and Emerson both suspended, and Kostas Mavropanos injured.

In come Kurt Zouma, Aaron Cresswell and Tomas Soucek for the absent trio.
