Super Falcons defender, Osinachi Ohale, has said she is unbothered about who the Nigerian team will face next.
According to her, she is only concentrating on her own team as it prepares for the next game after winning the last two group games.
The wins were a bounce back from the 2-1 loss to South Africa in the opening group game.
Speaking to journalists, Ohale stated that the Falcons were keen on winning the WAFCON title for a record 10 times.
“I wouldn’t say I have any preference because it is a game of football and you don’t know who you are going to meet,” the defender said when asked which team she would like to play next,” she said.
“We are at a crucial stage of the tournament, so it was very important for us to play the way we did and we know how much it means to us. We have now qualified for the quarter-finals and we are ready for the challenge ahead.
“We have grown from strength to strength, from when we played our first game and this was a good show tonight (Sunday). We want to continue to improve and get better. Our target is to win the trophy and we are getting closer.
“Whoever comes our way, we will take the game one at a time, we know we are through to the next stage and we are going to make sure we continue to practice well and improve on our game.”
Ohale was named the Woman-of-The-Match after Nigeria’s 4-0 win over Burundi at the Stade Moulay Hassan, Rabat in Morocco on Sunday.
