Victor Osimhen better than Alvaro Morata – Salvatore Bagni

Salvatore Bagni, a former Napoli midfielder, has rated Nigeria international Victor Osimhen above Juventus forward Alvaro Morata. 

According to Bagni, Osimhen is a better player than Morata.

Osimhen, who is a tireless fighter on the pitch, had a difficult first season in Italy after joining Napoli from Lille in 2020.
His difficulties are mainly due to injuries but Bagni has backed the No.9 to eventually show his worth.

The former Lille striker has scored five goals and made 2 assists for Napoli this season.

“Before judging the performance of the Nigerian we must also consider the number of minutes played,” Bagni said during the programme Gonfia La Rete.

“The Nigerian has missed many games. For me he is much stronger than Alvaro Morata”.
