Dmitry Zelenov, head of Spartak Moscow’s press service, has stated that the club expects to hear more about Nigerian forward Victor Moses in the near future.
The Russian media have speculated in recent days that the former Chelsea star would join the Spartak Moscow squad at their training camp.
Moses did not participate in the Red and Whites open training session on Thursday, though, and the club’s press office stated that it grasps the Nigerian’s absence from the training camp.
The club will soon make a statement regarding the future of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations champion player, according to Zelenov.
“As for Moses, we still have nothing to add to what we have announced. I think news about Victor Moses will appear in the near future,” Zelenov told Championat.com.
Last season, Moses helped the club win the Russian Cup for the first time in 19 years, defeating Dinamo Moscow 2-1 in the final at the Stadion Luzhniki in Moscow last month.
