Manchester United have been fined €300,000 by UEFA for failing Financial Fair Play rules for 2022.
It’s been described as a ‘minor breach’ of the regulations for reporting a break-even deficit for that year.
The club say it’s a result of unforeseen chances in how UEFA treated COVID-19 losses during that period.
But the important thing to note is that it does not affect United’s transfer plans for this summer, having passed Premier League regulations for the same period.
The Red Devils will be hoping to improve from the third place they finished in the Premier League last season.
The Red Devils are currently busy in the transfer market, having brought in the likes of Mason Mount from Chelsea and in line to sign other top stars including Inter Milan goalkeeper, Andre Onana.
