Nigeria’s U-20 girls, Falconets, defeated their Senegalese counterparts 1-3 in their 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup

All of the Falconets’ three goals were scored by star attacker, Flourish Sabastine. She opened scoring in the 8th minute before scoring another goal in the 56th minute to make it 0-2.
Nigeria was awarded a penalty in the 62nd minute and Sabastine converted it to extend the Falconets’ lead to 0-3.
The Senegalese reduced the deficit when Adji Ndiaye scored from the penalty box to make it 1-3 in the 89th minute.
The second leg takes place at the Ogbe Stadium, Benin City, March 26, 2022.
Nigeria is two-time U20 Women’s World Cup runners-up.
