U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles to play South Korea in quarter-finals

Nigeria will face South Korea in the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup quarter-finals in Argentina.

This was confirmed after the Asians beat Ecuador 3-2 on Thursday night to qualify for the last four.

The quarter-final clash between the Flying Eagles and the Koreans comes up on Sunday, June 4, inside the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades, Santiago del Estero at 6:30pm.

It will be the third meeting between both countries at this level.

The South Koreans defeated Nigeria 2-1 in their first meeting in Netherlands 2005.

The Flying Eagles won 1-0 at the 2013 edition in Turkey.
