Harry Kane has been told that there is no guarantee that he would win any trophy if he decides to join Manchester United this summer.
This is the opinion of former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders, who suggested that the Tottenham’s striker is better off joining Bayern Munich.
England national team captain has been subject to two bids from Bayern which were all rejected.
Kane has just one year left on his current deal thereby intensifying speculation that the north London side could be forced to sell, with United known to be huge admirers.
Former Premier League striker, \while commenting on the offers on the table for the striker, insisted that a move to Old Trafford may not bring him the silverware he craves.
“Would you sign for Man United before Bayern Munich? I’m not so sure, it’s a dilemma, because he’s not guaranteed to win anything at United – not guaranteed,” he told talkSPORT.
“For Man United, if you sign Harry Kane, he’s going to get you 25-30 goals. So will that make the difference from fourth and challenging?
“They’re obviously going to have a miles better chance if they sign him.”
