Departing Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos has urged Harry Kane to join Real Madrid ahead of Manchester United this summer.
Manchester United are keen on acquiring the services of the Tottenham captain this summer with Erik ten Hag already making it clear that a new striker is needed in order for his squad to progress.
However, following the departure of Karim Benzema from Real Madrid, a decision Carlo Ancelotti has described as a surprise, Manchester United are now set to face fierce competition for Kane’s signature.
Tottenham would not want to sell their very best player to a close rival like Manchester United but would prefer to sell Kane to an overseas club.
And Ramos, who won 22 trophies in his 16-year stint at the Santiago Bernabeu, believes Kane would be the perfect fit for the Spanish club.
“My advice to any player is don’t turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid – it is a special club who know how to win,” Ramos told The Mirror.
“He [Kane] has an incredible physical presence, you can’t score as many goals as he does in the Premier League and not be able to play the physical side of the game.
“Yes, he is a great goal scorer but also he is a great football player as well.”
