Transfer rumours: Neymar to leave PSG as French club offer player out to top European team

Neymar may leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer as the Ligue 1 champions are said to have already made an offer.

It’s fair to say that Neymar hasn’t always lived up to expectations, particularly since joining PSG, despite being the most expensive player in football history.

The Brazilian forward, who cost the Ligue 1 giants £196 million in 2017, has played fewer than half of the league games in each of the past two seasons and has made just 31 appearances overall.

Last summer’s arrival of Lionel Messi cast the former Barcelona player, who moved to Paris to escape his friend’s shadow, once more in the background, while Kylian Mbappe has taken center stage at the Parc des Princes.

In contrast to his anticipated move to Real Madrid, Mbappe signed a new contract with the club last month. According to reports, one promise made to the player was that Neymar would depart.

According to Footmercato, Max Allegri is now seriously considering the 30-year-old forward after receiving an offer from Juventus.

On Juventibus, Juventus expert Luca Momblano also stated that the Brazil star had been offered on loan to the Serie A powerhouses, who are attempting to return to the top of the mountain both domestically and internationally.

The player’s current team is unlikely to let him go for a low price, and his wages must also be taken into consideration, so it won’t be a simple transaction for anyone.

Neymar won’t be cheap, but according to earlier reports, he could be had for £76 million, which would mean a huge loss for Parisians.
