Lukaku spoke to Belgian media outlet Het Laatste Nieuws on the sidelines of a youth tournament in Boom, Antwerp province.
Lukaku was there to watch his son make his first appearance for Anderlecht.
He said he would travel to Rome on Sunday to sign a contract with AS Roma.
Lukaku is joining Jose Mourinho’s side on a season long loan.
“I am nervous… Tomorrow I will fly to Rome to sign,” Lukaku said.
He is not in Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino’s plans for this season
