Memphis Depay has agreed to terms with Serie A powerhouse Juventus ahead of a summer move.
The Netherlands international joined Barcelona ahead of the 2021/22 La Liga season, but after Xavi Hernandez became manager in November 2021, he largely lost favour with the team. Memphis still managed to score a respectable 13 goals across all competitions.
The player is eager to leave Camp Nou in search of playing time after Barca’s extremely busy transfer window, during which the club signed five new players, including two new forwards.
The transfer will become official once Juve and La Blaugrana mutually agree to end the player’s current contract, allowing the player to join as a free agent.
