Sadio Mane says his ex-Liverpool teammates tried to convince him to join their Saudi clubs instead of Al Nassr
Newly signed Al-Nassr forward Sadio Mane has said that Roberto Firmino wanted them to play together again at Al-Ahli.
Mane and Firmino completed a three-man attacking line that also Mohamed Salah at Liverpool.
The Senegalese then left the Reds for Bayern Munich a year ago.
But after one year in Germany the Africa Footballer of the Year has now joined Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.
Apart from Firmino, another Mane’s former Liverpool teammate Fabinho also wanted him to join Al-Ittihad.
