Transfer: Man Utd’s board takes final decision on Pogba’s future

Manchester United are reluctantly ready to sell Paul Pogba in the summer, the UK Mirror reports.

Pogba’s controversial agent, Mino Raiola, last year said the player was ready to leave Old Trafford, shortly after United made the decision to trigger a clause in his contract and extend his deal for a further 12 months.

After leaving the France midfielder on the bench for their decisive Champions League group stage clash against RB Leipzig, the 27-year-old has returned to his best form in recent weeks and helped catapult United to the brink of the Premier League summit.

Red Devils boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is said to be delighted with Pogba’s attitude and has little doubt over his commitment to the cause.

But with the former Juventus star unwilling to sign a new long-term deal, the club fear they have no option but to sell and recoup some of the £89million fee they paid Juventus back in the summer of 2016.
