According to a report, Manchester United right back Diogo Dalot has chosen to reject Barcelona and will stay at Old Trafford this season.
Dalot graduated from Porto’s academy and later made eight first-team appearances. In July 2018, he left the Portuguese team after Manchester United paid about £19 million to bring him to England.
Dalot was a loaned player for AC Milan during the 2020–21 season. During his 33 appearances for the Rossoneri, the defender performed admirably, which sparked rumours of a second transfer to that team.
An offer from Milan to loan the Manchester United player to them for another season was rejected.
As a result, Dalot battled Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the starting right-back position last season.
Barcelona wants to sign either Wan-Bissaka or Dalot, according to a recent update from Spanish journalist Gerard Romero.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Dalot does not intend to switch clubs this summer, making a transfer unlikely.
