Transfer: Man Utd complete Ugarte signing

Manchester United have announced the signing of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Uruguay midfielder has signed a five-year deal – with the option for a further 12 months – at Old Trafford.

He arrived for an initial €50m (£42.1m) plus a potential €10m (£8.4m) in add-ons.

Ugarte will not be eligible to play for United against Liverpool on Sunday – live on Sky Sports – as he was not registered in time.
