Transfer: Man Utd agree €10m loan deal for Amrabat

Manchester United have agreed to sign Sofyan Amrabat fro Fiorentina on a loan deal.

According to Sky Sports, the deal is for a loan with a fee of £8.5m (€10m) and an option to buy worth £21.4m (€25m).

The £21.4m (€25m) fee breaks down as an intial payment of £17.1m (€20m) plus £4.2m (€5m) in performance-related add-ons.

United boss, Erik ten Hag has been eager to bring in a new holding midfielder to his squad to provide competition, cover and support for Casemiro and quickly earmarked Amrabat as the ideal addition.

The Dutchman and the Morocco international worked together during their time together at Utrecht in the past.

Despite their long-standing interest in Amrabat, Man United have waited until the final couple of days of the summer transfer window to finally formalise their interest to bring the 27-year-old player to Old Trafford
