Transfer: Man United submit official bid for Chelsea star

Manchester United have submitted an official bid for Chelsea defender, Marc Cucurella. 

The Spanish defender is out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino 

He is free to leave the club this summer and Manchester United are said to be interested in the Spaniard. 

Erik ten Hag has identified the  25-year-old as a solution to their problems at left-back.

Manchester United have already lost Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia to various degrees of injuries.

Manchester United have agreed to offer a season-long loan to the player, according to the Athletic.

Chelsea are also said to be keen on letting the Spaniard go and are responding to the offer but their response is unclear.

The two sides are contunuing negotiations.
