Transfer: Man United pick Tottenham midfielder as Mason Mount’s replacement

Tottenham midfielder, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, could be on his way to Manchester United.

The Red Devils have now made ‘initial’ contact with Tottenham. 

The 28-year-old Dane has two years to run on his deal at the Tottenham 

He is now surplus to requirements under Ange Postecoglou.

Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, is keen on strengthening his midfield before Friday’s deadline day.

The Dutchman worked with Hojbjerg during his time as Bayern Munich’s reserve manager.

Tottenham accepted a reported £30m bid from Atletico Madrid for Hojbjerg earlier this summer but a deal failed to materialise.
