Manchester City attacking midfielder, Cole Palmer, will undergo his medical at Chelsea on Thursday.
The England international is heading to Chelsea before the transfer deadline.
The Blues and the Sky Blues have agreed a fee believed to be around £45m for the player.
Palmer, Manchester City’s academy product, was close to leaving the club at the age of 16.
However, the academy head, Jason Wilcox, ensured that the player was given a contract and sent him to train with the first team where manager Pep Guardiola liked what he saw.
The England U21 star was part of the Young Lions side that won Euro 2023.
