Transfer: Liverpool will seriously consider selling Salah for £150m – Carragher

Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, has said the Premier League club would consider selling Mohammed Salah for £150m
Carragher stated this speaking on Friday Night Football.
It is believed Saudi Arabian side, Al Ittihad, are ready to pay £100m for Salah.
“He won’t leave for £100m. If it got to £150m or over that then you might have a question to be asked – that’s big money for a guy who is 31 – but it’s so late in the window, that’s the problem.
“If they kept going higher and higher it would be hard to turn down an obscene amount of money.
“Liverpool supporters are crying out for signings not looking to move players on. And he is the best player. I think he’ll stay but it does make me think about next summer.
“If you think about Liverpool’s model under FSG and it came at a better time, I think they’d seriously think about it. They did it with Philippe Coutinho and they didn’t even replace him they just strengthened in other areas. That’s how it would happen but I don’t think it will. I think it will be revisited next summer,” Carragher said.
