After suffering disappointment in their pursuit of Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku, Inter Milan have set their sights on signing Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun.
The Italian giants pulled the plug on Romelu Lukaku’s return on Saturday.
The Serie A giants are reportedly peeved that the Belgian striker has been in touch with rivals Juventus about a possible move to Turin.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio broke that news earlier on Saturday and is now reporting Arsenal striker Balogun is on their list of alternative targets.
It is claimed Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio are big fans of Balogun, who enjoyed a great season on loan at Reims last term – with 21 goals in 37 games for the French side.
The 22-year-old recently switched his international allegiance from England to United States in order to get more game times, and it is widely reported he wants to leave the Gunners for a more prominent role elsewhere too.
