Transfer: Inter Milan pick Andre Onana’s replacement from EPL
Inter Milan identifies Premier League’s top shot-stopper as a replacement for Andre Onana
Inter Milan have made Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez their top target to replace Andre Onana, following his move to Manchester United.
However, the Italian giants will have to stump up a lot more cash to have a chance of signing the Argentina No.1.
Journalist Gaston Edul is reporting Inter have tabled a £12million bid for Martinez.
But that offer was quickly rebuffed by Aston Villa, who paid £20m to sign the 30-year-old from Arsenal in 2020.
Martinez helped Argentina to World Cup glory in the winter tournament in Qatar, and has been a key player for the Villa ever since his arrival.
He also has four years left to run on his contract at Villa Park, which expires in 2027.
