Transfer: He’s going nowhere – Pep Guardiola rejects Bayern’s move to sign Ortega
Pep Guardiola blocks Manchester City star from leaving the club this summer

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has maintained his position that the club’s No.2 Stefan Ortega is going nowhere amid interest from Bayern Munich.
Bayern, who are desperately in search of a new goalkeeper, want to sign the 30-year-old German goalkeeper as cover for injured Manuel Neuer.
The German giants were hoping to buy Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea, but the Spanish shot-stopper opted to join Real Madrid on a season-long loan instead.
And now, Guardiola has declared that his number two goalkeeper is not for sale, as he insists that the club does not have enough time left in the summer transfer window to sign a new keeper.
Guardiola told reporters, “We don’t want to sell him and we don’t want to loan him.
“I’m sorry, but we have wanted him for a long time.
“It always depends on three parties, yes, but we’d have to go back on the market to find a replacement in two weeks.
“We want Ortega.”
