Transfer: Facundo Pellistri’s Man Utd future decided

It has been revealed that Facundo Pellistri will remain at Manchester United for the 2022–23 season due to a circumstance beyond his control.

Pellistri signed with Manchester United in October 2020 and was initially told that he would be a first-team player, but he has yet to make his competitive debut for the club. He has endured a few loan stints with Alaves in La Liga.

However, the winger is currently back in the Manchester United lineup. Pellistri, who has a contract that doesn’t expire until 2025, is eager to advance in his career.

As of right now, AS has confirmed Pellistri’s intention to remain in Manchester.

At the tail end of July, he injured his ankle during a preseason game. Pellistri’s recovery time from the setback is predicted to be between six and eight weeks.

Since the transfer window closes on September 1st, it is unlikely that he will be fully recovered. Because of this, he is essentially trapped at Man Utd.

However, there is a chance that at Old Trafford, he will finally have a chance to demonstrate his abilities. The absence of wingers in Erik ten Hag’s team is noted in the report; this could create a spot for Pellistri upon his return.
