Dwight McNeil’s transfer to Everton from Burnley is being discussed in-depth for an undisclosed fee as Frank Lampard’s side are in talks to sign Dwight McNeil.
The 22-year-old is at Finch Farm for medical, and the deal will probably be finalised within the next 24 hours.
With 134 Premier League appearances under his belt for Burnley, McNeil has a tonne of experience in the top division.
West Ham and Crystal Palace of London had also expressed interest in the attacking midfielder.
The Clarets have the option to extend McNeil’s current Burnley contract by an additional year, and it has two years left to run.
The Toffees signed Sporting Lisbon defender Ruben Vinagre on a season-long loan deal on Wednesday, making him the club’s second summer signing under Lampard.
