El Bilal Toure of Reims has emerged as a late transfer window target for a number of Premier League clubs looking to improve their attacking options.
The Malian international made his senior international debut less than a year after being discovered by Reims in early 2020 and being accepted into their academy.
Along with Hugo Ekitike, who was traded to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer, Toure was one of Reims’ breakout stars last season, contributing two goals and four assists in 21 Ligue 1 appearances.
Everton held discussions earlier in the summer and is one of the parties still considering a late move as they try to give Frank Lampard as many attacking options as they can.
While Crystal Palace, Brighton, and West Ham are rumoured to have asked to be kept informed of Toure’s situation, Southampton, who have already raided France this summer to sign Sekou Mara from Bordeaux, are also taking a look at the player.
Reims is rumoured to be asking for around £10 million for the versatile 20-year-old front-line player.
